You got behind me when my campaign for safer public venues was in its infancy and transformed my idea into a real political and media campaign. You bought in expertise and a critical mass of support, you pushed the issue into the spotlight, negotiated with politicians and advisers and were key to making it happen. I couldn’t have done it without you.
After the attack, connecting with Survivors Against Terror was a lifeline to me, being with people who share the same life-changing experience as me make it is such a supportive environment to be in. I've begun helping out with visuals and communications and I love knowing that I can use my skills to help SAT in my own way.
After my partner, David, was killed in the Brussels bombings I vowed to do everything I could to make sure no one suffered as we had. My goal was to make sure that no one fell through the gaps in the system like me and my little boy did. I am one of the founder members and its current chair.
